- Create a culture so that the most junior person can overrule the most senior person.
- Speak last in the meeting. In the order of seniority. Because even a slight change in opinion from the person you respect might change your bias away from the truth.
- Many of the successful companies started as products first. There are products that become companies and then there are companies that come up with a product. Be the former.
- Assign only one task to a person in the company. Until the deadline, speak only about that only thing to that person, nothing else.
- In the early stages when building teams, hire barrels not ammunition. Barrels are these strong driven, extremely talented people who handle the end-to-end process. Give them one simple task and if they do it phenomenally well, promote them, give them more tasks.
- Find a highly disrupted industry with low NPS, stitch together the value prop and do a vertical integration. This is a high chance of success.
